Liver has hundreds of functions. 

So it becomes one of the most important organs in the human body. 

The function of the liver is to produce the bile to help in digesting the fats, storing carbohydrates, producing compounds that are important in blood clotting, and eliminate toxins from the body. 

Humans being have only one liver. 

This organ is very durable. 

Liver even keeps working despite the damage and it is capable of regenerating.

One serious infection that can attack the liver is caused by the hepatitis B virus. 

Some of the symptoms of hepatitis B include the loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, jaundice that viewed from the skin and white color of the eyes turn into yellow. 

And the symptoms are similar to the common cold, such as fatigue, body pain, and headache.

But these symptoms are not immediately felt, and some cases the symptoms even did not appear. 

Therefore, many people did not realize that they had been infected. 

Incubation is the times between the viruses firstly enter the body until the appearance of the first symptoms of the infection. 

The incubation period for hepatitis B is usually between 1 until 5 months after the exposure to the virus occurred.
